Let's Sketch! A Workshop with Long Island Arts Council
IN PERSON Workshop with Robyn Cooper @ The Freeport Recreation Center
All Levels, No Prior Experience Necessary
Ages 10+
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
Drawing is the foundation for all art making. In this workshop students will learn how to draw what they see, working in an observational approach. Trying something new may feel intimidating, but Robyn alleviates and erases any apprehensions about drawing with step-by-step, easy to follow, demonstrations in a comfortable and supportive class. For this one-day workshop, students will practice foundational drawing skills such as sketching, shading, and composition. Whether you’re just starting to explore art making, or are a more experienced artist, this workshop is for you! Beginners will learn where to start when trying to create and more advanced students will brush up on technical skills to help take their work to the next level.
All supplies will be provided.
